Dr. Beverly “Dr. Z” Zidor believes dentistry is about more than treating teeth. It’s about helping people feel comfortable, confident, and good about their smiles.
Early in her career as a dental resident, she cared for a patient with damaged front teeth who was preparing for an important job interview. In one visit, she was able to restore her smile and help her walk into the interview feeling more confident. Later, learning that the patient got the job reminded her why she chose dentistry—to help people feel better about themselves and make a difference in their lives.
As a first-generation Haitian-American, she was raised with a strong appreciation for compassion, hard work, and helping others. She earned her DDS from the University of Iowa
College of Dentistry and completed an AEGD residency at Lutheran Medical Center. She has also completed advanced training through The Dawson Academy and The Nash Institute.
Since beginning her dental career in 2012, she has cared for patients in New York, Texas, and Georgia.
She understands that many people feel nervous about going to the dentist, worry about discomfort, or may not feel confident about their smile. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and explain treatment clearly so patients know what to expect and feel comfortable with their care.
Today, she is proud to serve the Buford community at Great Smiles Buford Center, providing family, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry with a gentle and personal approach.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, staying active and fit, volunteering in her community, and continuing her education to stay current with new developments in dentistry.
For her, good dental care starts with listening. She takes the time to understand what matters to each patient and make sure they feel comfortable with their care.
New patients are always welcome at Great Smiles Buford Center. She looks forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and helping you feel more at ease about your dental care and your smile.
